The construction work of a modern factory for Fortaco is in full swing in Knurów. The owner of the building is Panattoni. The production area is 34,600 sqm. Operations are for the high technology of steel plate processing, product specialization, and Zero Emission technology products. Installation work related to the foundation of machines is progressing inside the building. The floor and foundation are prepared for very heavy loads. Also, 38 overhead cranes are installed for heavy loads.
The students of the Faculty of Construction of the Silesian University of Technology visited the site and could see all this as a part of our partnership in the Builder For the Young Engineers programme. This was the next to the last visit in the summer semester of the 2023/2024 academic year on Kajima Poland construction sites.
