At the construction site of the 1 Stage of Warsaw City Point Targówek for dla Peakside Capital Advisors Polska, we held a meeting with students of Politechnika Warszawska (Warsaw University of Technology) as part of the Builder For The Young Engineers (B4YE) programme run by Builder magazine.
This time we talked mainly about the idea of counteracting climate change and reducing the negative impact of the construction industry on the environment, which is the basis of “green” certifications. We introduced students to issues related to the certification of facilities in the BREEAM and LEED standards. We are preparing this facility to obtain both of these certificates at the same time. We also discussed the WELL Health & Safety rating that will ensure healthy and safe working conditions for users of the facility. Apart from the lecture, the students were shown around the construction site.
