Builder For the Young Engineers, Wroclaw

We talked with students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Politechnika Wrocławska about multi-criteria certifications like BREEAM and LEED to be obtained at the design and construction stages. The meeting took place at our headquarters in Wrocław, as part of Kajima Poland’s participation in the partnership programme Builder For The Young Engineers (organized by Builder Polska). The substantive and formal preparation of facilities for obtaining certification in the area of sustainable development is currently one of the most important competencies of the general contractor, and therefore also of our engineers. For students of faculties related to construction, knowledge and contact with practical activities in this field are invaluable.

Edyta Kubala, Senior Project Administration Specialist at Kajima Poland: “The structured and accessible transfer of specialist knowledge to the younger generation requires looking at the entire process through the eyes of young people, and also develops some slightly different competences, namely teaching skills. Of course, the experience is stressful, but I like sharing my experience with future engineers.” Sylwia Ochnicka, Project Control Manager at Kajima Poland, talked about Japanese heritage dating back to the 19th century and the extensive experience in construction of both our organization and the global brand.
