Last year, we completed the DC11B investment for P3 Logistic Parks. It is a warehouse and logistics centre with a total area of 23,500 sq. m. located in the P3 Piotrków logistics park in Wola Bykowska. It is designed for storing food in various conditions: from micro freezer (-21°C), through cold stores (2–7°C), to a dry warehouse. It also has a comfortable and modern office space. A significant part of the investment project is the micro freezer and cold store designed and built using box-in-box technology. They constitute a separate and thermally isolated space inside the larger hall. Additionally, the space between the floors of the hall and the freezing chamber within it is thermally insulated and equipped with electric heating cables. Similarly, the ground under the industrial floor has its own insulation and heating system (glycol installation) in the freezing chamber area.
The advanced BMS system controls several systems in the building (including mechanical hall ventilation, office air conditioning, heating, and lighting). The BMS also monitors utility consumption and notifies users when it is exceeded, and the parameters of the cold store and freezing chamber, as well as electrical systems. The warehouse and logistics centre recently received the multi-criteria BREEAM Excellent certificate, confirming that the solutions and materials used meet sustainability criteria.
