As part of our partnership in the Builder For the Young Engineers (B4YE) programme, we met with students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, at the site of the expansion of the Nestlé Purina pet food factory in Nowa Wieś Wrocławska.
The students learnt about the complex process of expanding the operational factory and its high bay warehouse whose load-bearing structure is made of warehouse racks. Jarosław Muroń, Senior Construction Manager Kajima Poland also discussed the responsibilities of engineers as well as the client’s very high health and safety requirements to be met while implementing this project.
Kajima Poland has planned more meetings at the construction sites of production and logistics facilities in the summer semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.
We have been participating in the B4YE programme since 2021, and since 2023, we have been its Strategic Partner.
