Despite winter, the construction of the 7R Park Wrocław West II warehouse and logistics centre is in full swing. We are planning there a number of unique technological solutions for logistics construction, including an energy storage facility with a capacity of 200 kWh. Energy to be stored there will come from roof solar panels. This will be a major advantage in the process of obtaining the BREEAM Outstanding certificate for the facility. The future construction of the energy storage facility and its connection to solar panels and the facility’s energy system is not all. In order to make full use of the capacity of this system, we plan to cooperate with the user to develop an optimal schedule for the operation of the energy production, storage and distribution systems. Besides the energy storage facility, air-source heat pumps powered with solar panels will also be used to satisfy the facility’s heat demand. Both solutions will be complemented by, among others, an advanced BMS control system and energy-saving LED lighting controlled by the DALI system (presence and solar intensity sensors enable smooth adjustment of the lighting intensity in the hall).
