Students of the Warsaw University of Technology at the construction site of the Student Depot. The second meeting

It was already the second visit of students of the Warsaw University of Technology to the construction site of the Student Depot private student house in Warsaw, and another one paid as part of Builder For The Young Engineers – an educational programme run by Builder magazine.

This time, we talked about modern construction management using the CDE (Common Data Environment) platform. Future engineers and designers learned about the unified centralised project data storage method and the system for controlling the progress of works related to each of the rooms (including works to be covered up). We also discussed the general idea of BIM (Building Informational Modeling) that encompassed CDE.

Meanwhile, finishing, facade and surface works are in full swing. The construction of Student Depot is coming to an end.
