CTPark Warsaw South is a modern warehouse, service and logistics centre with an area of 77,850 sqm, built according to the client specifications. The facility has two warehouse halls with a storage height of 10 and 12 m.
Kajima Poland implemented the facility and the accompanying infrastructure in the design & build model. This included the demolition of several existing buildings and paved surfaces, the relocation of medium-voltage lines, the reconstruction and elevating of high-voltage lines, the relocation of drainage ditches as well as the preparation of the facility for BREEAM certification with an Excellent rating. The entire project was completed ahead of the deadline.
CTPark Warsaw South includes a number of solutions that ensure significant savings in the consumption of utilities (water, electricity and gas) and are environmentally friendly. Photovoltaic panels and a grey water system (for flushing toilets and urinals) have been installed in the facility. Remote reading of metres for all utilities is also in place there. Almost 200 trees, 650 shrubs and a flower meadow that does not require watering have been planted outside the facility. An astronomical clock has also been installed to control the lighting of the roads, car parks and manoeuvring areas.
The retention reservoir has been protected against groundwater runoff with an anti-filtration screen. Crushed material obtained from the demolition has been used in the construction roads. With the employees in mind, a relaxation zone has been arranged and a large bicycle shelter has been erected.
