As part of the 6th Phase of the expansion of the Nestlé Purina production plant, a production and warehouse building (10,068 m² – a production facility and intermediate warehouses), FERT – a final dispatch warehouse (5,268 m²), DEPAL – a packaging warehouse and quality control rooms (1,011 m²), as well as technical buildings and rooms were completed.
Kajima Poland performed land development along with networks and surfaces, construction and finishing works, as well as part of the systems (lightning protection, sprinkler system, and under-floor systems, including the technological one). The design was coordinated in the Building Information Modelling (BIM) system. The facility recovers heat generated in the production process to heat staff rooms and offices in this part of the plant.
During the expansion, it was necessary to accommodate the very high client requirements regarding occupational health and safety as well as hygiene standards. Ongoing coordination of the entire construction process was also required so as not to obstruct work in the operational part of the plant.
