The 2nd stage of the construction of CTPark Warsaw South included the development of an executive design and general contracting of two warehouses (MSZ1 and MSZ3) along with the associated infrastructure, green areas, and three three-storey office units in the shell & core standard. Kajima Poland has also prepared both facilities to obtain BREEAM Excellent certificates. The total area of the new park is 66,600 sqm and includes the MSZ1 warehouse with an area of 46,000 sqm and the MSZ3 warehouse with an area of 20,600 sqm.
Interestingly, the facades of both halls include fanlights made of polycarbonate panels that let 50% of daylight in, which reduces the amount of artificial lighting and thus energy consumption during the facility’s operation. Other environment-friendly solutions used in this project include reinforcing the roof structure for the installation of photovoltaic panels.
