A modern and environmentally friendly sorting facility for an e-commerce tenant with a total area of 13,000 m\u00b2 consists of a hall (11,600 m\u00b2) and a two-storey office part (1,400 m\u00b2). Deliveries are handled with the use of 35 docks intended for heavy transport and 13 gates with courier shelters to handle 168 delivery vehicles. In order to streamline traffic around PPWNG II, the intersection on the provincial road has been rebuilt by adding an exit lane, a bus bay and an access road to the new facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Several environmentally friendly solutions have been applied in this project, such as an advanced BMS monitoring energy consumption in all systems (including the tenant\u2019s technological systems) and a water consumption reduction system. The courier shelters are equipped with charging stations for electric delivery vehicles. There is also a charging station for electric passenger cars. The area is covered with carefully selected greenery: a flower meadow that does not require watering, native shrubs and trees.
